Don’t wander around aimlessly, ask a senior!
With project bridge, we can finally make that possible again.
Freshmen and Seniors were far enough already before the divide, we need to
“Bridge
the gap”
Starting high school can be a lot to take in, but Project Bridge is here to help make the transition smoother. With this program, you’ll get matched with a senior who’s been through it all and can offer guidance on things like managing stress, improving study habits, and preparing for future opportunities.
What do we offer?
Once a week from 3-4 PM after school, you'll dive into a structured four-part curriculum covering essential topics and tips to help you navigate your high school experience.
-
Through our mentorship and weekly meetings, we will be working to get you all your first jobs if you need it or haven't gotten one already.
-
Each mentor will work with a single mentee, helping them and giving them personalized assistance throughout the entire semester, and answering any questions they might have in that time.
-
Our curriculum and mentorship program includes tutoring, SAT tips, and general academic advice. As seniors who’ve recently taken the SAT, we have plenty of insights to share with our underclassmen.
Each week, you’ll meet with your mentor and a group of fellow freshmen to focus on important topics like mental health, communication, and getting ready for what comes after high school. Plus, you’ll get to choose a mentor who matches your interests and can offer advice based on their own experiences.
Choose from our diverse set of mentors!

Personality/Interests:
I love music and play various string instruments. I also love anything beauty whether it’s makeup, hair, or any of the above honestly. I’m an outgoing person who loves helping and guiding others as best as I can. I played volleyball consistently in middle school, but only play as a hobby now. When it comes to me, all fiction goes but I really enjoy manga/anime, especially Bleach, Vinland Saga, Attack on Titan, and many others. I’m an advocate for doing whatever you think will get you the most success after high school, whether that includes college or not. My main goal is to complete medical school and become an Orthodontist, but pick up nursing/general care experience along the way.
Why I Became a Mentor:
In the beginning of high school, I genuinely had no idea what I was doing, and not only was I afraid to ask questions, whenever I did ask, no one seemed to have an answer. That was actually frustrating and discouraged me a lot of the time. Now that I’m a senior and figured out a lot of things on my own, I wanna relay everything I learned onto the underclassmen and be their answer that I didn’t have. Whether it’s personal, such as hobbies or mental health, or academic like programs or CCP, I want to guide them into being exactly who they envision themselves to be.

Why I Became a Mentor:
I became a mentor because i've always been big on helping people I feel like a lot of people in the past weren’t granted opportunities like this for them to succeed in life I want to guide our younger youth to not only succeed in their high school careers but also life I feel like this can go a long way because when they gain experience and insight they can teach their underclassman I feel like this would be a beneficial factor for not only us but them also and guidance is truly what we need for success.

Why I Became a Mentor:
I chose to become a mentor because I remember how hard it was for me when I first entered high school and not having direct guidance from those around me aided in my confusion. I want to not only help but to guide students to their own personal success. Students should be able to gain help and access to things to plain their future without waiting on counselors and those who just don’t have the means to help. I believe that with Project Bridge we can get that done.

Personality/Interests:
I enjoy working out, going to explore new places, understanding new hardware// equipment and technology. I love swimmings and exploring new topics through college. I am an advocate for trying to get your associate's degree before you graduate high school. I could see myself enjoying tutoring, and could be a new talent or hobby.
Why I Became a Mentor:
I became a mentor because of several factors. The biggest one would be trying to be a better figure/mentor I could without having that authority figure teachers have. I want to be able to show students that in life, we all make mistakes and that it should not limit us from reaching our true potential. This could also go into my second reason, freshman students usually don't have a clear path or a sibling to help guide them. Truly understanding that everyone needs some sort of guidance to be able to be successful.
If you want to be able to navigate through high school with more confidence and knowledge you should definitely join
